DURHAM REGION
"Durham Regional Council has approved the 2023 Property Tax Supported Business Plans and Budget Guideline. The Guideline provides an overall property tax cap for the 2023 Business Plans and Budget and provides guidance to finalize budget submissions.
The Guideline establishes a property tax levy target increase not to exceed five per cent for 2023. This tax levy guideline provides for increased investments in critical frontline core service areas, while meeting current economic challenges such as rising inflation and accounting for the future growth of our community."
